Hi! I'm Monique, you might already know me, or maybe not. But I’d like to tell you a little more about myself. I've been active in the equestrian world for 35 years. As a little girl, I wanted nothing more than to be with horses. In my younger years, I was a passionate show jumper, but I found my true passion in dressage. Over the years, I’ve worked with many different types and sizes of horses and tried all sorts of horse rugs. Unfortunately, I kept running into the same problem: my horses would get rub marks on their shoulders, and the rugs never seemed to fit properly. It was also inconvenient to change rugs when they went into the walker during the winter, and with regular rugs, the pulling on their shoulders just got worse. Until I had a "genius" idea: the Equi-M Combi-rug was born.

The perfect blanket

I had a few strict requirements for this rug: waterproof, breathable and made of high-quality fabric (I've had my share of horse rug wreckers in the stable). In addition, it had to solve the problem of shoulder rub marks.
Why do blankets rub? They don’t fit properly, the front fastening straps are too narrow, too loose or flimsy, and the pressure is placed entirely on the shoulders when a horse moves and the overall fit is just wrong.

These are all things I’ve solved with the Equi-M Combi-Rug. Thanks to the extra layer across the horse's chest, the rugs' pressure is not placed on the moving parts. The fastening straps are wider and sturdier, so they stay in place, and the fit is designed to contour well to a horse. This way, the Equi-M Combi-Rug stays put and won’t slide off your horse.
And in the end, you also save a lot of time because you no longer need to change rugs when your horse goes into the walker. You simply fold the rug open and attach it to the side hooks.
